PROOF OF CONCEPT
Explore our journey from scientific data to immersive digital experiences

PROJECT TRAILER
Watch our trailer video showcasing the ScubaVerse project and its mission to create immersive digital experiences for ocean conservation.

SOURCE DATA
Our project is built on scientific data provided by the Australian Institute of Marine Science (AIMS). This collaboration allows us to create accurate digital representations of marine ecosystems.
Australian Institute of Marine Science (AIMS)
The Australian Institute of Marine Science is Australia's tropical marine research agency. AIMS plays a pivotal role in providing large-scale, long-term and world-class research that helps governments, industry and the wider community to make informed decisions about the management of Australia's marine estate.

SKETCHFAB MODELS
Explore the original SketchFab models created by AIMS that served as the foundation for our 3D environments.

DEVELOPMENT PROCESS
Follow our journey from initial concept to final implementation in Unreal Engine.
Data Collection
We started with scientific data and 3D scans provided by AIMS, which gave us accurate representations of coral reefs and marine ecosystems.

3D Modeling
We transformed the SketchFab models into optimized assets suitable for real-time rendering in game engines, enhancing details while maintaining performance.

Unreal Engine Implementation
Finally, we implemented the models in Unreal Engine, adding interactive elements, lighting, and environmental effects to create an immersive experience.

UNREAL ENGINE MODEL
The final result of our development process is a fully interactive environment in Unreal Engine that allows users to explore marine ecosystems in unprecedented detail.
